About Me

My wife Sarah and I have called Midhurst home for nearly ten years with our three children Terry, Isabel, and Ellie. Raising our family in Springwater was the right choice and I personally feel a dedication to our community.

I have a strong belief that community service strengthens our communities and post COVID this is truer than ever. I am a member of the local Midhurst Community Recreation Association (MCRA) organizing events that benefit both our community and Springwater. Organizing the Midhurst Soap Box Derby after a two-year hiatus was important to me as it brought parents and children in the community back together. My family and I enjoy being part of our community spirt.

I have been part of a dedicated volunteer group clearing and icing the local pavilion rink in Midhurst. So many of the good things in our community come from volunteers and I am proud to be one of them.

The success of the Ukrainian charity event at the Midhurst Hall was a testament to the strong character of the people in our area. I am pleased to have volunteered for this event and I know we made a difference. I have strong convictions about Canadians leading by example internationally and I was pleased to find others feel the same way.

We need representation with private sector experience, negotiation ability, and proven success working in a team environment. With a firm knowledge of budgeting and finance I know I can tackle issues on council that affect you and your family. I graduated from Northwood University in Michigan and Georgian College for Automotive Business. I have been successful in the private sector, business consulting and negotiation both nationally and internationally.

I feel my strongest qualification is the time I have taken to make myself knowledgeable on councils’ dealings and budgets. For years I have watched our council meetings, scrutinized our budgets, and made myself aware of our growth. I know any candidate that has not invested their time to be aware of council will struggle.

Council is a board of directors that oversees the growing multimillion-dollar corporation of Springwater. This seat needs to be held by a candidate that possess the financial knowledge, strong work ethic, and has roots in the community. I am dedicated to responsible government that respects the taxpayer and I hope to earn your vote this fall. I commit to be open, transparent and available to the residents. I know I can put my experience and work ethic to work for you.
